Understand the asset
USDT exists on several networks, and the network is an essential part of the payment instruction. A USDT invoice must name the exact chain it accepts.
Before you send
Distinguish ERC-20 and TRC-20 instructions carefully. Sending a token to a network the recipient does not support may make the payment unrecoverable.
What privacy means here
A stablecoin targets a reference value but still carries issuer, network and custody risks. It should not be described as risk-free cash.
After payment
Payment should be confirmed only after the invoice has been reconciled under its confirmation policy. If a payment is delayed, provide the transaction identifier and invoice number through a verified support channel. Never provide a wallet recovery phrase or private key.
Choose ERC-20 or TRC-20 before transferring
USDT has two separate configured routes: Ethereum ERC-20 and TRON TRC-20. Their receiving addresses, token contracts and network fees differ. Select the route before opening the payment QR and match it in the sending wallet or exchange. Receiving the right ticker on the wrong chain does not satisfy the intended order.
Keep the payment record useful
Retain the order reference, quoted asset and network, expiry and transaction identifier. Contact support through a verified channel if reconciliation is needed. A support enquiry should never include a wallet seed, private key or signing credential.
A little more clarity.
Is USDT on another network accepted?
No other USDT network is configured. Use the exact Ethereum or TRON route selected for the current order.
