Before a transaction leaves your wallet

A careful payment takes a minute.

Crypto transfers deserve a deliberate check because the network does not provide a conventional undo button.

Verify the destination

Open billing from the verified site and check the complete invoice. Confirm the asset, network, amount, expiry and address. Clipboard malware and impersonation can change a destination while leaving the surrounding page convincing.

Keep wallet secrets separate

Support needs an invoice number or transaction identifier, not a seed phrase or private key. Do not enter recovery words into a hosting dashboard, send them by email or paste them into a support conversation.

Understand fees and confirmation

A wallet or exchange may subtract a fee from the amount it sends. That can leave an invoice underpaid. Network congestion and exchange processing can delay settlement; check the stated confirmation policy before assuming the payment failed.

Retain a useful receipt

Keep the invoice, transaction identifier, asset and network with your own records. Share only the minimum needed for support, since a transaction identifier can reveal public activity. Review cancellation and refund rules before paying.
