Understand the asset
Litecoin is a separate network with its own addresses, fees and confirmation policy. Use an invoice that explicitly requests LTC.
Before you send
Leave enough balance for the network fee and check whether the wallet sends the full requested invoice amount. Save the transaction identifier for reconciliation.
What privacy means here
The ordinary Litecoin transaction history is public. Payment and server privacy need to be considered separately.
After payment
Payment should be confirmed only after the invoice has been reconciled under its confirmation policy. If a payment is delayed, provide the transaction identifier and invoice number through a verified support channel. Never provide a wallet recovery phrase or private key.
LTC uses Litecoin mainnet
The LTC route expects a native Litecoin mainnet transfer. Compare the complete receiving address and amount with the current order, and account for any withdrawal fee imposed by the sending service. Confirmation and exchange-processing times can differ; a typical block interval is not a delivery guarantee.
Keep the payment record useful
Retain the order reference, quoted asset and network, expiry and transaction identifier. Contact support through a verified channel if reconciliation is needed. A support enquiry should never include a wallet seed, private key or signing credential.
A little more clarity.
Does Litecoin share the Bitcoin receiving address?
No. Use the Litecoin address from the LTC payment page. Address and network checks are specific to each selected route.
