An accountless or token-based workflow can suit short-lived infrastructure when lifecycle and recovery are explicit. Protect the token and understand what happens at expiry.
Daily versus monthly
Short billing units can be useful for a temporary job. Compare minimum spend, renewal, deletion timing and the full cost at the runtime you expect. Do not leave critical data on a machine designed to disappear.
Automation model
Review the actual API, client version and credential scope. Make server creation idempotent, keep configuration reproducible and export results before destroying the worker.
Use the same evidence for both options
Check current official specifications, prices, policies and availability before choosing. Test the same workload and include licences, backups and operational effort. Compare verified capacity and measured results for your workload; matching resource labels do not establish equivalent performance.
