Start with the service you need
If a provider offers its own payment tooling or alternative network access, understand which components it operates and which depend on another party. These choices change the trust model, not just the interface.
Alternative access paths
Tor and I2P have different connectivity models. Verify supported endpoints, intended uses and whether the application itself is suitable for that route. Avoid assuming one network name implies support for all privacy networks.
Payment processing
Ask how a payment is matched, how long confirmation takes and what records are retained. An in-house invoice system still needs transparent error handling, security and unused-credit terms.
Use the same evidence for both options
Check current official specifications, prices, policies and availability before choosing. Test the same workload and include licences, backups and operational effort. Compare verified capacity and measured results for your workload; matching resource labels do not establish equivalent performance.
