If you are evaluating both a domain intermediary and a server, understand who is the registered holder, how transfers work and what happens during a dispute or account recovery.
Account model
Compare the exact signup credentials, recovery process and retention policy. Fewer fields can reduce identity collection, but a lost credential still needs a carefully designed recovery path.
Public and onion access
An onion entry point may help reach a control service through a different route. It does not change the security of your application, public DNS records or payment trail. Verify any published onion address through the official site.
Use the same evidence for both options
Check current official specifications, prices, policies and availability before choosing. Test the same workload and include licences, backups and operational effort. Compare verified capacity and measured results for your workload; matching resource labels do not establish equivalent performance.
