Start with the service you need
Compare the core virtual machine first, then add the storage and network services your workload genuinely needs. A low base price may be attractive while a different storage model changes the application’s performance.
Storage character
Local NVMe and a separate bulk-storage volume can serve different purposes. Check latency, attachment limits, redundancy and backup responsibilities instead of comparing capacity alone.
Network requirements
If you need anycast or a particular network feature, verify availability, terms and the actual deployment model. KoalaVPS does not currently publish an available anycast service.
Use the same evidence for both options
Check current official specifications, prices, policies and availability before choosing. Test the same workload and include licences, backups and operational effort. Compare verified capacity and measured results for your workload; matching resource labels do not establish equivalent performance.
