Use resources lawfully
Do not use the service for child sexual abuse material, unauthorised access, malware distribution, credential theft, fraud, extortion, illegal exploitation or threats to people. Follow applicable law and respect the rights of others. Legitimate research requires authorisation from the systems being tested.
Protect the shared network
Do not launch denial-of-service attacks, send abusive unsolicited messages or deliberately disrupt other networks. Activities that place shared infrastructure at material risk may require containment. Resource-intensive legitimate workloads should be discussed under clear traffic and capacity terms.
Rights complaints need a process
A complaint should identify the specific resource, relevant rights, supporting evidence and a way to contact the complainant. Reports must be assessed under applicable law; an allegation alone should not be treated as proof. Customer notice and a response opportunity should be provided when lawful and practical.
Proportionate enforcement
Check the applicable investigation, urgent-restriction, suspension and appeal procedures. Actions should be limited to what is necessary to address the issue. No promise is made to disregard court orders, valid legal obligations or serious abuse.
Check a specific activity
If your activity needs a specific permission, obtain it through a verified service contact before deployment. A general acceptable-use page is not authorisation to test, access or disrupt someone else’s systems.
